Job Description

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer. Location: Redmond, Washington, United States

Job Type: Full-time, hybrid (3 days in-office)

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and operate cloud-scale multi-tenant platforms with focus on reliability, scalability, and security
• Lead Kubernetes-based infrastructure design including clusters, networking, storage, and workload isolation
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM, Bicep, Terraform, and Helm
• Improve system reliability through fault modeling, chaos testing, and failure-domain design
• Build automation tools for detection, diagnosis, and self-healing of platform issues;
• Work on incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem improvements
• Collaborate with product and platform teams for deployment strategies and capacity planning
• Ensure safe rollout patterns, dependency management, and blast-radius reduction

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong coding experience in Python, C++, C#, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience working with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure;
• Understanding of reliability engineering, availability, and fault tolerance
• Experience meeting security and compliance requirements including background checks

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration systems
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or similar)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems design and fault-tolerant architecture
• Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud resiliency design;
• Knowledge of cloud networking, identity, access control, and security systems
• Experience in large-scale production service operations and incident management
• Ability to design safe deployment strategies and manage system dependencies
