Job Title: Solution Business Development Lead, Hyperscale Networking. Location: Palo Alto, California, United States
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop customers, partners, and ecosystem relationships across hyperscale computing, AI infrastructure, network OEMs, and telecommunications.
- Lead early-stage customer co-design engagements, connecting company architects with customer architecture teams before requirements are finalized.
- Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from start to finish, including technical content and commercial positioning.
- Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable product specifications and influence product development;
- Represent the company in industry standards organizations and consortiums involved in defining interface specifications.
- Monitor competitors, their products, technical capabilities, and supporting evidence.
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of networking and data center infrastructure markets.
- Own pipeline forecasting and develop the commercial narrative for business reviews.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in business development or technical sales involving networking or data center hardware.
- Proven design-in wins with hyperscale, cloud, or large network OEM customers. Experience should demonstrate direct customer engagement rather than channel sales volume.
- Working knowledge of fabric architecture, including leaf-spine networks, scale-up versus scale-out architectures, and the cost and power considerations of network infrastructure;
- Experience shaping customer requirements rather than simply responding to established specifications.
- Comfortable selling and positioning products that are still being defined and developed.

- Annual base salary depends on geographic zone:
- Zone 1: Bay Area and New York City, $154,900 to $182,000.
- Zone 2: Los Angeles and Washington, DC, $139,400 to $163,800.
- Zone 3: Austin, Chicago, and Sacramento, $123,900 to $145,600.
- Zone 4: Nashville, Phoenix/Tempe, and many remote locations, $108,400 to $127,400.
