Solutions Architect - AI Technology

Job Description

Job Title: Solutions Architect - AI Technology Center, Scientific Applications. Location: Seoul, South Korea

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with researchers, universities, joint laboratories, and enterprise partners on advanced scientific computing projects
• Analyze scientific applications, workflows, data structures, CPU-GPU interactions, and communication patterns
• Identify performance bottlenecks and improve application speed and efficiency using NVIDIA technologies;
• Support researchers in optimizing applications through NVIDIA CUDA libraries, SDKs, and GPU computing solutions
• Guide teams in transitioning experimental code into scalable, production-ready research environments
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for scientific and high-performance computing projects;
• Promote successful collaborations through presentations, publications, press releases, and industry events such as GTC
• Support proof-of-concept projects and adoption of advanced AI and HPC technologies

Qualifications:

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience managing complex technical projects and aligning work with strategic objectives
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in one or more HPC domains, including electronic structure calculations, molecular dynamics, computational fluid dynamics, astrophysics, numerical weather prediction, or quantum computing;
• Experience working with NVIDIA GPUs and software libraries
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration abilities
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred:

• Strong record of academic research publications
• Experience working across academia, industry, and government organizations
• Experience with AI models, model architectures, training, deployment, and optimization
• Experience developing or deploying open-source or proprietary AI systems;
• Familiarity with scientific computing and large-scale research environments
