Strategy and Operations Manager

Job Description

Job Title: Strategy and Operations Manager. Location: Remote, United States

You will work closely with Professional Services, Technical Account Management, Sales, Finance, IT, and R&D to drive better workflows, stronger alignment, and clearer insights that improve customer outcomes.

Duties:

  • Own systems and tools used by Customer Solutions, including configuration, reporting, and data accuracy across Professional Services and Technical Account Management.
  • Lead the selection and rollout of the next Professional Services Automation platform;
  • Document business requirements and work with cross-functional teams to support system needs.
  • Manage integrations across Salesforce, NetSuite, and project management tools to create unified insight into customer engagements.
  • Build automations, workflows, and enhancements that improve team productivity and operations.
  • Create and refine dashboards that surface insights into project delivery, customer adoption, renewals, and operational performance.
  • Develop operational models for capacity planning, resource forecasting, and utilization tracking;
  • Work with leadership to define KPIs, reporting cycles, and success metrics that drive alignment and accountability.
  • Improve and document global processes across Professional Services, TAM activities, enablement, and customer lifecycle workflows.
  • Create frameworks for milestone tracking, project health, and customer success handoffs.
  • Partner with Sales, R&D, and Finance to ensure Customer Solutions processes support broader company goals.
  • Support leadership in preparing business reviews, QBRs, and operational updates;
  • Strengthen communication between Customer Solutions, Sales, and R&D to improve customer experience.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance system effectiveness, data governance, and resource planning.
  • Contribute to building a scalable, data-informed Customer Solutions organization as D-Wave grows globally.

Qualifications:

  • More than 10 years of experience in Customer Solutions, Professional Services, Technical Account Management, or Revenue Operations in SaaS or technology.
  • Deep experience with Salesforce, Certinia, and project management platforms.
  • Strong analytical background with a history of building dashboards and driving insights;
  • Proven ability to design processes, create automation, and manage systems across customer-facing functions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business teams.
  • Highly organized and comfortable working in fast-moving environments.
  • Ability to combine strategic vision with practical execution;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success improving operational efficiency and supporting customer delivery at scale.

Benefits and Instructions:

  • Salary range: 128,000 to 192,000 USD per year for remote work in the United States.
  • Compensation includes base pay, equity, bonus, and benefits, reviewed during the hiring process;
