Account Manager, Higher Education and Research

Job Description

Job Title: Senior Account Manager, Higher Education and Research. Location: US, Remote - Northeast US or Mid-Atlantic corridor

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to university and occasional state government leaders, communicating NVIDIA's technology vision, roadmaps, and research impact.
• Drive business growth, forecast revenue, and collaborate with IT and business partners on go-to-market strategies.
• Build relationships with leading research labs and principal investigators across AI/ML, life sciences, physical sciences, climate science, engineering, and materials science.
• Understand research challenges and stay informed about emerging computational methods;
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developer Relations, Product Management, Business Units, and university partners.
• Drive awareness, adoption, and high-impact use of NVIDIA's technology platform across assigned institutions.
• Develop a strong understanding of scientific trends and NVIDIA's full technology stack.
• Support applications involving CUDA-Q for hybrid quantum-classical computing, PhysicsNeMo, Earth-2, BioNeMo, Parabricks, Omniverse, RAPIDS, and other NVIDIA technologies.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of proven experience in science or scientific business roles.
• Experience working with research universities and engaging university leadership, PIs, and Research Computing teams is highly desirable.
• Strong scientific curiosity and willingness to learn technically complex concepts.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or comparable professional background;
• An advanced degree such as an MS or PhD in a scientific or technical field may be advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in unstructured and constantly changing environments.
• Must be located in the Northeast US or Mid-Atlantic corridor.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Cash compensation of $200,000 to $304,750 for Level 4.
• Cash compensation of $224,000 to $356,500 for Level 5.
• 85% of cash compensation is base salary and 15% is variable compensation.
• Eligible for equity and benefits.
• Compensation is determined based on location, experience, and compensation of employees in similar positions.
