Job Description

Job Title: Application Developer - IBM Cloud FullStack. Location: Napoli, Italy

You will work across all stages of the software lifecycle and help clients move applications to the cloud and integrate AI features; The position allows you to grow quickly by working on different projects across industries in a collaborative consultancy environment.

Duties:

• Work across design, development, testing, and support phases of the software lifecycle.
• Build and maintain cloud-ready and scalable applications;
• Identify system issues, design solutions, and improve performance.
• Develop maintainable and flexible components using Java and front-end frameworks.
• Act as a reference point for other developers and support team collaboration.
• Build infrastructure paths that support cloud migration and AI integration;
• Stay updated on new tools, frameworks, and technology trends.

Qualifications:

• Technical diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong experience with Java, relational databases, no-SQL databases, and SQL.
• Knowledge of back-end frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, MyBatis, and Quarkus.
• Experience with Angular, React, or Vue.js;
• Understanding of microservices, synchronous and asynchronous patterns, and event-driven design.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Ability to design cloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Intermediate English and strong communication skills;
• Preferred certifications in Java, microservices design, containerization, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud.
