Consultant Intern – Strategy

Job Description

Job Title: Consultant(e) Stagiaire - Strategie et Transformation. Location: Bois Colombes Cedex, Hauts-de-Seine, France

As part of the IBM Consulting Enterprise Strategy team, you will help clients rethink their business strategies and design sustainable, data-driven transformation roadmaps; This internship offers exposure to both strategic and technical dimensions of modern enterprise consulting.

Duties:

• Support client projects focused on procurement transformation and strategic improvement.
• Conduct benchmarking to assess client performance and identify innovation opportunities.
• Analyze business challenges, risks, and potential value creation areas;
• Develop and present recommendations and business cases for transformation projects.
• Contribute to roadmap design, investment planning, and implementation support.
• Use IBM methodologies, research tools, and internal platforms for strategy development.
• Create professional reports and presentations for client executives;
• Collaborate with teams across IBM Consulting, including IBM Research and IBM Technology.

Qualifications:

• Master’s student (engineering or business school) specializing in digital transformation or related field.
• Internship agreement required (stage de fin d’études).
• Fluent in French and English (C1 level minimum);
• Strong analytical and presentation skills; comfortable with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with agile project methods and process transformation.
• Interest in procurement, sustainability, and finance topics;
• Ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and work in collaborative teams.
• Curiosity and motivation to explore emerging technologies such as quantum computing.
