Product Designer

Job Description

Job Title: Product Designer. Location: Sydney, Australia

You will collaborate with engineers, researchers, and product teams to translate advanced science into practical tools used by quantum developers & researchers worldwide.

Duties:

• Design and deliver high-quality user experiences, from concept to final product.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and research teams to define problems, explore design directions, and deliver effective solutions.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to guide design decisions and improve usability;
• Develop and maintain design systems that ensure consistency and scalability across products.
• Communicate ideas clearly through sketches, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes;
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative design culture by sharing insights and feedback with peers.
• Perform other related duties that align with your skills and experience.

Qualifications:

• 4 or more years of experience in product design with a strong focus on UX, UI, and interaction design.
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong design craft and problem-solving skills;
• Experience designing digital products from early discovery to polished delivery.
• Proven ability to build and maintain design systems;
• Strong communication and presentation skills to align with stakeholders;
• Curiosity, creativity, and a growth mindset to explore new technologies and design methods.
• Excellent attention to detail, accountability, and ownership of outcomes.
