Job Title: Production Operators - Control. Location: Bromont, Quebec, Canada. Job Type: Full-time (21-month contract with possible extension to permanent)

IBM Infrastructure is hiring production operators to support manufacturing and testing of Quantum Controls and Circuit technologies in Bromont, Quebec; The role involves working with advanced manufacturing systems used in the development of IBM’s Power, Z, and Quantum hardware platforms.

As part of the IBM Infrastructure team, you will help ensure smooth production, high-quality assembly, & continuous improvement in one of the most advanced manufacturing facilities in Canada.

Duties:

• Operate assembly and testing equipment with precision and care to maintain production quality.
• Conduct quality control checks to meet IBM’s strict standards;
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and equipment performance.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize production and reduce downtime.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace;
• Handle controlled technologies in compliance with Canadian export regulations.

Qualifications:

• No specific education required, but a minimum of Secondary 3 education or one year of manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using digital tools and systems; an iPad will be provided for work-related tasks;
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage;
• Eligible to work in Canada as a citizen or permanent resident, and able to pass a Controlled Goods Program security assessment.
• Candidates with additional nationalities must comply with Canadian export control restrictions.
