Project Management lead

Job Description

Job Title: Project Management Lead. Location: Singapore

The role includes planning and managing workshops and trainings, ensuring smooth communication across technical and leadership teams, & aligning research and business strategies to advance the company’s quantum technology goals.

Key Duties:

  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules and work plans for technical operations.
  • Act as a cross-functional focal point within the Project Management Organization (PMO) to coordinate with multiple global technical and operational teams.
  • Ensure timely communication of strategies, risks, scope changes, and progress updates between technical teams, product management, and senior leadership using reports, dashboards, and presentations;
  • Lead status meetings, project reviews, and retrospectives while evolving processes to meet changing organizational needs.
  • Set programmatic goals and track milestones and KPIs to ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate schedules or introduce necessary technologies;
  • Align technical R&D efforts with business strategies and goals in collaboration with company leadership.
  • Own risk and opportunity management processes related to program planning and escalate major issues through the proper channels.
  • Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in technical program management.
  • Must not be a national of the People’s Republic of China or Russia unless also a U.S. citizen, due to U.S. national security requirements.
  • Master’s degree in a STEM field preferred;
  • Strong background in quantum computing, optics, photonics, or experimental physics.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred;
  • Experience in product development and leading projects through full life cycles, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Proven experience in early-stage or first-of-its-kind technology-based projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with C-suite executives and clients;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical programs and drive innovation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to mentor others in these areas.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and adapt to dynamic project needs.
