Quantum Process Integration Lead (FEOL)

Job Description

Job Title: Quantum Process Integration Lead (FEOL). Location: Delft, Netherlands

Responsibilities:

• Lead development of front-end fabrication technologies for quantum processors
• Improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability of Josephson junctions, metallization, through-silicon vias, and related device components
• Develop and coordinate integration test plans with cross-functional teams;
• Define and formalize chip development and fabrication processes across the organization
• Establish scalable and well-documented integration procedures for future system growth;
• Investigate and resolve integration issues and technical anomalies while maintaining performance targets
• Support development of advanced multi-layer chip stack architectures for scalable quantum hardware

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in chip development within deep-tech or low-volume manufacturing environments
• Hands-on experience with process-flow development;
• Experience with EBL, metal and dielectric deposition, patterning, and process control monitoring structures
• Background in quantum physics, microwave/RF/electrical engineering, or related field
• Experience working with fabrication and integration processes for advanced hardware systems

Preferred:

• Background in superconducting qubits
• PhD in a relevant technical or scientific field
• Experience in quantum computing hardware development;
• Experience optimizing fabrication and integration workflows for complex chip architectures
