Job title: Quantum Systems Test Engineer. Location: Poughkeepsie, New York, United States

The role offers hands-on experience with cryogenic systems, microwave electronics, and cutting-edge test equipment, contributing to the advancement of scalable quantum technology.

Duties:

• Design, execute, and expand test processes and automated tools for quantum systems.
• Validate integration of quantum processors and related subsystems;
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues to improve performance and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and test engineers.
• Develop and maintain documentation on test and integration procedures;
• Support system availability by addressing incidents and enhancing monitoring infrastructure.
• Contribute to the creation of new test methodologies and tools to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming with Python, Shell, or C/C++.
• Experience in laboratory environments with electrical test equipment and signal analyzers.
• Knowledge of cryogenic systems and low-temperature test environments;
• Hands-on experience with microwave electronics and test equipment such as vector network analyzers.
• Strong debugging skills, including test automation and use of debugging tools.
• Understanding of electrical design principles and analog/RF components;
• Ability to perform effectively in time-constrained and dynamic work environments.
