Job Description
Job Title: Research Scientist – Quantum Computing. Location: Singapore
In this role, you will contribute to the global advancement of our quantum computing stack while working closely with leading academic and industry experts. You will publish scientific papers, present findings at top conferences, and collaborate with clients on applied research projects.
Duties:
- Conduct research on new quantum algorithms for fields such as biology, finance, chemistry, and optimization
- Develop and implement innovative algorithms that integrate early fault-tolerant protocols and quantum error correction techniques
- Perform end-to-end resource estimation of quantum algorithms under realistic hardware constraints;
- Communicate research results through publications, reports, and presentations;
- Collaborate with partners and clients to develop practical quantum solutions
Qualification:
- PhD in physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- Research experience in quantum algorithm design and optimization, noise modeling, or fault-tolerant protocol development
- Proven ability to publish in recognized journals and present at scientific conferences

- Deep understanding of quantum computing principles and algorithmic development;
- Hands-on experience implementing algorithms using simulators or hardware platforms such as Qiskit or pytket
- Proficiency in Python or other high-level programming languages;
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
