Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer, Cloud Pub/Sub, BigQuery Integration. Location: New York, NY, USA

The role focuses on building high-performance scalable backends and improving availability, efficiency, and reliability for both internal and external users; You will work across the stack and contribute to cutting-edge cloud technologies that support enterprise-grade data solutions.

Duties:

• Design and implement features using C++ with a focus on system reliability and scalability.
• Develop solutions for distributed computing and large-scale data processing;
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to troubleshoot and enhance product performance.
• Work across multiple teams and projects to address customer-driven priorities;
• Contribute to improvements in Cloud Pub/Sub integration with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform.
• Ensure code and systems meet high standards of efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, distributed systems, or computing infrastructure.
• Proficiency in C++ and software engineering best practices;
• Experience with large-scale data analytics, distributed data processing, or cloud platforms preferred.
• Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science or related field are a plus;
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka, SQS/SNS/Kinesis, or RabbitMQ is advantageous.

Benefits and Instructions:

• Base salary range: $141,000–$202,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and full benefits.
