Supply Chain Planner and Data Analyst

Job Description

Job Title: Staff Supply Chain Materials Planner and Data Analyst. Location: Milpitas, California, USA

The role combines supply chain management with data analytics to ensure materials are available on time and processes are optimized for efficiency and accuracy; You will support a team focused on building scalable quantum computers based on silicon photonics with fault-tolerant architectures.

Duties:

  • Develop and maintain material requirements plans for production and NPI projects.
  • Monitor and mitigate supply risks, shortages, or excess inventory;
  • Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure readiness for new product introductions.
  • Establish accurate item master data, lead times, and MRP parameters.
  • Track material availability with contract manufacturing partners.
  • Build dashboards and reporting systems to track supplier performance and inventory levels.
  • Support ERP system enhancements and standardize reporting processes;
  • Apply data-driven insights to optimize cost efficiency and responsiveness in the supply chain.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, materials planning, procurement, or data analytics in high-tech or startup environments.
  • Strong ERP systems knowledge, preferably Netsuite or similar platforms;
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Tableau and Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain principles, forecasting, and inventory management in both in-house and outsourced manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience establishing processes in early-stage or established organizations;
  • Experience with NPI materials planning and continuous improvement practices (Lean/Six Sigma a plus).
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Benefits and Instructions:

  • Base salary range: $153,000–$170,000 USD, Bay Area range: $185,000–$200,000 USD.
  • Full-time role eligible for equity, bonus, and benefits;
  • Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and location.
