Analytics and Reporting Specialist

Job Description

Job Title: Analytics and Reporting Specialist. Location: British Columbia, Canada

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a portfolio-wide reporting strategy including KPIs, cadence, and templates
  • Build and maintain dashboards and scorecards for schedule health, milestones, risks, and resource allocation
  • Standardize metric definitions and ensure consistent data usage across teams;
  • Develop automated data pipelines and reporting workflows to reduce manual effort
  • Integrate and validate data from tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Excel
  • Use AI tools to generate insights, summaries, and anomaly detection while validating outputs
  • Ensure data governance, quality checks, and traceability of reporting outputs
  • Support stakeholders with clear, accessible reports from team-level to executive views

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, business, engineering, computer science, or related field
  • 3 to 6+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or PMO analytics
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard creation
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, and SharePoint
  • Solid understanding of data quality, governance, KPI definition, and basic ETL processes
  • Ability to translate complex stakeholder needs into clear reporting solutions
  • Experience with AI-assisted analytics tools and understanding of their limitations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present insights to technical and executive audiences
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
