Job Description

Job Title: Internship: Automating Security Reviews at IBM Quantum (m/f/x). Location: Ehningen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany

This role focuses on streamlining security assessments, integrating AI-driven solutions, and improving productivity while ensuring robust security standards; You will work closely with security and development teams to implement innovative automation concepts.

Duties:

• Analyze the current security review workflow and identify areas for automation.
• Design and implement automation concepts for selected steps of the review process.
• Explore AI-driven and policy-based approaches for security assessments;
• Collaborate with product development and security teams to ensure practical implementation.
• Support enhancements to IBM Quantum’s DevSecOps practices and hybrid cloud workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
• Proficiency in Python programming or similar languages;
• Basic understanding of security principles and software development fundamentals.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and AI/ML concepts for automation is preferred.
• Knowledge of policy-based security frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
