Director, Offering Management – Quantum Developer

Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Director, Offering Management – Quantum Developer Platform. Location: Remote, United States / London or Cambridge, United Kingdom

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute a multi-year strategy for the quantum developer platform aligned with business and technology priorities
• Identify platform capabilities required to support future quantum workloads, applications, and hardware generations
• Drive build, buy, or partner decisions for platform components;
• Establish KPIs to measure platform adoption, developer productivity, and business impact
• Translate trends in AI, cloud-native technologies, and advanced computing into platform investments
• Develop monetization, packaging, and pricing strategies for platform offerings
• Build business cases supporting infrastructure and platform investments
• Own the end-to-end developer experience, including onboarding, tooling, documentation, APIs, SDKs, debugging, and support
• Analyze user feedback, support tickets, surveys, and usage analytics to identify and remove developer friction
• Partner with engineering teams to define scalable and resilient platform architectures;
• Provide technical and business input on platform design tradeoffs involving scale, cost, and maintainability
• Act as a spokesperson for the platform internally and externally
• Translate market and developer needs into product requirements and roadmap priorities
• Support growth of the developer ecosystem through onboarding, education, advocacy, partnerships, and co-innovation initiatives
• Establish operational processes for roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution;
• Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, customer support, finance, legal, product, and program management teams

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in product or offering management for developer platforms, cloud services, HPC environments, or advanced computing systems
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• Strong ability to bridge quantum computing, software engineering, and product strategy;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Proven ability to influence research, engineering, and business stakeholders
• Experience leading and mentoring high-performing global teams
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-changing environments
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred:

• Experience with HPC platforms, accelerator-based computing, scientific computing, simulation environments, or cloud computing platforms
• Knowledge of quantum computing technologies and developer ecosystems
• Experience managing platform products that serve technical users and developers
• Experience balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution;
• Experience working across organizations without direct management authority
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their application within developer platforms

• Annual salary of $260,000 - $325,000, including bonus target
