Job Description
Job Title: IT Operations Lead. Location: Delft, Netherlands
Responsibilities:
- Manage all company desktops, laptops, and related IT infrastructure
- Oversee user accounts, device setup, and access control systems
- Ensure secure and reliable network connectivity across offices and remote access
- Develop IT processes, documentation, and onboarding workflows
- Deploy and manage information security tools on end-user devices
- Select and manage external IT service providers and vendors
- Define SLAs, monitor performance, and ensure service quality
- Manage software licensing, hardware procurement, and vendor relationships
- Oversee internal systems including servers, networking, backups, and VPN
- Support integration of SaaS and cloud-based solutions;
- Collaborate with ERP teams to align infrastructure and access needs
- Enforce IT security policies, data protection, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR)
- Implement monitoring, endpoint protection, and incident response processes
- Evaluate and recommend IT solutions aligned with company growth
- Plan IT budgets and resources for scalability
- Act as a strategic advisor on all IT-related matters
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in IT administration or infrastructure roles
- Strong hands-on experience with desktops (Windows, macOS), SaaS tools, and cloud systems
- Experience managing IT vendors and outsourced providers;
- Good understanding of IT security and compliance frameworks
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership as the first IT lead
Preferred:
- Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience with MDM tools like Microsoft Intune, JAMF, or Kandji
- Familiarity with identity management and SSO tools (Okta, Google Workspace, OneLogin)
- Experience with SaaS platforms like AWS, GCP, GitHub, HubSpot, Slack, or Personio
- Background in manufacturing, hardware, or technology environments;
- IT project management certifications (e.g., ITIL, CITM, CMiT)
