Lead Process Integration Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Lead Process Integration Engineer. Location: Delft, Netherlands

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end process integration from R&D to pilot and production for quantum chip manufacturing
  • Develop yield improvement roadmaps using data analysis and root cause investigations
  • Manage product flow across multiple quantum product lines and fabrication stages
  • Lead transfer of processes from R&D fabs to 8-inch pilot production line;
  • Define process windows, design margins, and corrective actions with R&D teams
  • Implement MES systems for production tracking, traceability, and workflow standardization
  • Design process flows, route maps, and data collection systems for wafer-level manufacturing
  • Ensure full traceability of recipes, BOMs, masks, and process parameters in MES
  • Support metrology, SPC, APC, and FDC systems for process monitoring and control
  • Drive conversion of 4-inch and 6-inch R&D processes to 6-inch and 8-inch production scale
  • Collaborate with equipment, metrology, and product teams to ensure scaling compatibility
  • Lead change control processes and co-own material review board (MRB) decisions;
  • Mentor junior engineers and build strong process integration practices
  • Align cross-functional teams on milestones, yield targets, and production readiness

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
  • 10+ years in semiconductor, MEMS, or process integration engineering
  • Experience in R&D to production transfer and yield ramp development
  • Strong knowledge of MES, SPC, DoE, APC, and fab data systems;
  • Experience with multi-product integration and change control systems
  • Familiarity with lithography, etch, deposition, implantation, CMP, and metrology tools
  • Strong data analysis skills using Python, JMP, or similar tools
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in quantum or advanced semiconductor manufacturing environments
  • Experience scaling wafer processes from development to pilot production
  • Experience in equipment qualification and process optimization at fab scale
