Lead Process Integration Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Lead Process Integration Engineer. Location: Delft, Netherlands

Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute yield improvement roadmaps using data analysis and root-cause investigation
  • Own end-to-end process integration from R&D to pilot and full production
  • Lead product flow across fabrication stages ensuring smooth manufacturing processes
  • Manage handover of products from R&D to 8" pilot line with predictable scaling
  • Define process windows, design margins, and implement corrective actions;
  • Integrate quality, reliability, and manufacturability into all process decisions
  • Lead MES deployment and define process flows across multiple products
  • Design process trees, routing, traceability, and data collection systems
  • Ensure version control of recipes, BOMs, masks, and parameters
  • Drive metrology strategies and tool selection for accurate process control
  • Connect process parameters to device KPIs and yield performance;
  • Lead wafer size conversion from 4"/6" to 6"/8" production
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams on scaling and tool compatibility
  • Mentor engineers and lead cross-functional collaboration across teams
  • Chair change control processes and ensure full traceability in MES
  • Communicate progress on yield, MES readiness, and production milestones

Qualifications:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor or MEMS process integration
  • Proven experience in R&D to production transfer and yield optimization
  • Strong experience with MES, SPC, DoE, and fab data systems;
  • Broad knowledge of fabrication tools including lithography, etch, deposition, and metrology
  • Strong data analysis skills using tools like Python or JMP
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills in cross-functional environments

Preferred:

  • Experience with multi-product integration and change control systems
  • Hands-on experience with equipment qualification and process scaling
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing workflows;
  • Experience mentoring teams and leading engineering initiatives
