Operations Technician - Quantum Computing

Job Title: Operations Technician - Quantum Computing. Location: Singapore

The position offers exposure to cutting-edge quantum computing technology and integration of hardware and software workflows.

Duties:

• Launch, operate, and maintain the H-series quantum computer on-site and remotely.
• Support operational and development plans for the Helios system;
• Collaborate with global teams for cloud-based quantum computer operations.
• Contribute to software and hardware development for customer-focused applications.
• Participate in documentation, technical writing, and presentations.
• Travel internationally for training or project needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development, or a related technical field.
• Experience with programming tools, collaboration software, and version control;
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with quantum software platforms like Qiskit or Cirq.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work on a team and manage tasks with backend, QA, or R&D engineers.
• Knowledge of quantum information science or fundamental physics related to QIS is a plus;
• Candidates must meet national security requirements: not a Chinese or Russian national unless also a U.S. citizen.
• Postgraduate experience (M.S. or Ph.D.) in software development or research is valued.
