Procurement Lead

Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Lead. Location: Delft, Netherlands

Responsibilities:

• Build and own procurement strategy, supplier network, and purchasing processes
• Manage vendor selection and ERP-based procurement workflows
• Source high-value quantum manufacturing equipment such as nanofabrication tools and cryogenic systems
• Handle procurement of materials including chemicals, gases, metals, and transport services;
• Lead supplier negotiations and work with Finance and Legal on contracts, pricing, and agreements
• Support scaling of procurement function and eventually build a procurement team

Qualifications:

• Experience in procurement covering both operational purchasing and strategic sourcing
• Background in deep-tech, semiconductor, hardware scale-up, or advanced manufacturing environments
• Experience sourcing capital-intensive technical equipment and managing supplier relationships;
• Experience building procurement systems or processes from scratch is highly valued

• Strong negotiation skills for high-value contracts and long-term supplier partnerships
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in fast-moving environments
• Structured approach to process building while maintaining operational flexibility;
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to drive cross-functional collaboration
