Procurement Lead

Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Lead. Location: Delft, Netherlands

Responsibilities:

• Build and own procurement strategy, supplier ecosystem, and purchasing processes
• Design scalable workflows from vendor selection to ERP-supported execution
• Source high-value equipment such as nanofabrication tools and cryogenic systems;
• Manage procurement of BOM components, chemicals, gases, metals, and services across development and production
• Lead supplier negotiations and collaborate with Finance and Legal on contracts and payment structures
• Ensure fast, compliant, and low-risk supply chain operations
• Initially act as an individual contributor, then build and scale the procurement team

Qualifications:

• Experience in procurement, including operational purchasing and strategic sourcing
• Background in hardware scale-up, deep-tech, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing
• Experience sourcing capital-intensive equipment and managing technical suppliers;
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Ability to build procurement processes and systems from scratch

Preferred:

• Experience setting up procurement frameworks in high-growth environments
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and supply chain optimization
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and legal teams
