Job Title: Strategic Account Executive - Quantum Computing. Location: Tokyo, Japan
Job Type: Full-time, hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Execute complex enterprise sales strategies for high-value accounts with long-term revenue potential
- Manage and expand relationships with enterprise, government, and academic clients
- Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders including C-level leaders and researchers
- Collaborate with technical teams to align quantum hardware, HaaS, and R&D services with customer needs
- Lead multi-party and multi-year deal negotiations across legal, finance, and product teams
- Identify new market opportunities and expand existing accounts;
- Represent the organization at industry events and act as a subject matter expert in quantum applications
- Deliver accurate forecasts, account plans, and pipeline updates to leadership
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, focusing on complex solution selling
- Strong experience selling hardware, SaaS, or scientific/technical platforms
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and expand strategic accounts
- Strong understanding of government procurement, research institutions, and enterprise IT transformation
- Ability to engage with R&D, CTO, and CIO stakeholders;
- Understanding of quantum computing, cloud platforms, or high-performance computing
- Fluent in English, additional regional language skills are a plus
Preferred:
- Background in physics, engineering, computer science, or related field
- Experience in emerging technologies such as quantum, AI/ML, or HPC
- Experience in commercialization of advanced technologies;
- Prior experience in a senior customer-facing role at a global technology company
