Job Description
Job Title: Strategic Account Executive – Quantum Computing. Location: United States (Remote, East Coast focus)
You will be responsible for identifying and growing high-impact accounts, influencing executive-level decisions, and driving sustainable revenue growth; Your ability to connect cutting-edge technology with real-world business needs will be central to this role.
Duties:
- Develop and execute enterprise sales strategies targeting long-term growth across government, academic, and enterprise clients.
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, including C-level executives, researchers, and policymakers;
- Work with technical teams to align quantum hardware, Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS), and R&D offerings with client needs.
- Lead multi-party negotiations, managing legal, finance, and product teams through complex deal cycles.
- Expand business opportunities by identifying new markets and developing partnerships;
- Represent Quantinuum at conferences and events to promote quantum applications and thought leadership.
- Maintain accurate forecasts, pipelines, and strategic sales reports.
Qualifications:
- More than 10 years of enterprise technology sales experience in complex solution selling, ideally in hardware or scientific/technical platforms.
- Proven success managing clients in the financial services industry;
- Strong understanding of quantum computing, high-performance computing, or advanced research systems.
- Knowledge of government procurement, research institutions, and academic funding.
- Experience working with R&D and technology leadership such as CTOs and CIOs;
- Background in physics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Must meet U.S. person requirements due to federal and contractual rules.
Preferred:
- Record of exceeding revenue targets in high-growth or emerging technology sectors.
- Experience in early-stage or emerging technology commercialization.
- Work history at a global technology or research-driven company.
