Program Manager

Job Description

Job Title: Program Manager. Location: British Columbia, Canada

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technical programs, including large-scale government projects
• Align multiple projects, budgets, and timelines with company strategy
• Drive portfolio prioritization, scenario planning, and decision-making processes
• Manage stakeholder engagement across internal teams and external partners;
• Use tools like Jira, PowerBI, and AI systems to track and communicate progress
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies
• Prepare executive-level reports on program status, risks, and outcomes
• Mentor teams and promote a collaborative and productive work environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as physics, engineering, computer science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex R&D programs
• Strong project and program management expertise with proven delivery success
• Experience working with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders
• Strong understanding of scientific or engineering principles;
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies

Preferred:

• PMP certification or equivalent
• Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe, or Prosci
• Experience managing deep-tech or quantum-related programs
• Familiarity with cross-functional environments involving research and engineering teams
