Project Manager

Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager. Location: British Columbia, Canada

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain project plans including scope, schedule, milestones, and dependencies
• Align stakeholders on priorities, timelines, and trade-offs across cross-functional teams
• Facilitate project cadence including kickoffs, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Track execution and proactively identify risks, issues, and blockers;
• Coordinate deliverables, owners, and timelines with functional leads
• Maintain project documentation such as charter, RAID log, RACI, schedules, and status reports
• Provide clear weekly updates on progress, risks, and decisions required
• Drive mitigation strategies and escalate conflicts related to scope or resources;
• Support continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and improving processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, science, or related field or equivalent experience
• 3 to 6+ years of experience managing projects in R&D, engineering, operations, or product environments
• Strong understanding of project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, cost, and risk
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Excel;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum certification
• Experience working in technical or quantum-related environments;
• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows for reporting and documentation
