Job Description
Job Title: Sales Incubation Lead, Quantum AI. Location: Washington, D.C., USA
This role focuses on early-stage business development, long-term partnerships, and strategic alignment as quantum computing moves from research into real-world systems; You will help position Quantum AI as a trusted partner for national missions and advanced research programs.
Duties:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with federal agencies and key decision-makers.
- Lead end-to-end capture strategies, from early opportunity discovery to contract execution.
- Identify early-adopter government programs and align them with Google Quantum AI’s roadmap.
- Translate government mission needs into clear inputs for product, research, and leadership teams;
- Manage and negotiate complex agreements such as OTAs and CRADAs in coordination with legal and finance teams.
- Serve as the main link between government stakeholders and internal product, legal, and research groups.
- Track federal funding trends, procurement vehicles, and policy changes to guide future strategic partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in business development, consulting, partnerships, or sales with federal agencies.
- Strong experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage long-term agreements and multi-party partnerships;
- Knowledge of US government procurement, policy, and contracting frameworks such as GSA MAS, GWACs, and MACs.
- General understanding of quantum computing concepts, cloud platforms, or advanced research infrastructure.
- Master’s or advanced degree is preferred.
Benefits and Instructions:
- Base salary range: $168,000–$249,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
- Compensation depends on experience, role level, and location;
