Job Title: Senior Fabrication Engineer Quantum Processors. Location: Delft, Netherlands

Job Type: Full-time, on-site (hybrid flexibility not specified)

Responsibilities:

• Lead R&D activities from concept through prototyping to manufacturable quantum hardware processes
• Contribute hands-on to fabrication and development of quantum processor technologies
• Lead, mentor, and support engineers working on advanced fabrication methods
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate external technologies
• Manage resources, timelines, and priorities across cross-functional teams
• Build scalable engineering processes in a fast-moving R&D environment
• Drive innovation in chiplet-based and 3D quantum processor architectures

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Physics, Electronics, Materials Science, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in semiconductor or hardware R&D environments
• Experience solving complex technical challenges in hardware development
• Strong communication skills for technical and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience working in startup or scale-up environments preferred
• Leadership experience in R&D teams

Preferred:

• Experience in semiconductor processing, chip integration, TSV, flip-chip, or wafer-level fabrication
• Experience with superconducting quantum bit fabrication
• Knowledge of thermal management, mechanical stress, and hardware reliability
• Strong mentoring and team development experience
• Experience engaging both engineering and business stakeholders
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills
