System Integration Engineer – VIO

Job Description

Job Title: System Integration Engineer – VIO. Location: Delft, Netherlands

Job Type: Full-time, on-site (hybrid flexibility may apply)

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main technical interface between customers, internal engineering teams, and suppliers
• Translate complex system requirements into clear technical interface specifications
• Lead end-to-end integration of quantum hardware modules into customer systems
• Develop system models for large-scale quantum computing architectures;
• Support sourcing and qualification of compatible third-party components
• Identify integration risks early and coordinate cross-functional solutions
• Improve integration frameworks to support multiple deployments in parallel

Qualifications:

• Strong background in RF/microwave engineering in semiconductor or quantum environments
• Experience in systems engineering and hardware interface definition
• Ability to design and conceptualize complex large-scale hardware systems;
• Experience working in cryogenic or advanced semiconductor packaging environments is a plus
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal and external technical teams

Preferred:

• Experience with superconducting quantum hardware systems
• Experience in quantum system integration or chip-level hardware scaling
• Familiarity with cryogenic environments and low-temperature physics
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams in hardware deployment projects
