Job Description

Job Title: Senior Manager, Recruitment. Location: British Columbia, Canada

Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the company-wide recruitment strategy to attract exceptional scientific, engineering, and operational talent in the quantum computing ecosystem
  • Translate business and workforce plans into hiring strategies, priorities, and sequencing across functions, levels, and geographies;
  • Oversee full-cycle hiring, including highly specialized and senior talent, ensuring high-quality outcomes while balancing speed and candidate experience
  • Build and maintain deep talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and engagement with niche technical communities
  • Act as a senior advisor to hiring leaders on role scoping, market dynamics, and hiring tradeoffs
  • Manage the employer brand, ensuring a clearly articulated value proposition across career pages, job descriptions, content, events, and candidate touchpoints
  • Lead and develop the recruitment team, including hiring, coaching, and training recruiters and leaders;
  • Optimize recruitment systems, tools, and analytics to drive data-driven decisions and continuous improvement in hiring outcomes
  • Provide accurate hiring forecasts and insights to executives and board members
  • Evaluate and implement technology and process enhancements to improve efficiency and candidate experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience leading recruitment teams through rapid growth
  • Experience recruiting in technical, scientific, or R&D-driven environments;
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruiting and develop talent pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with recruitment systems, workflow optimization, and analytics
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple strategic initiatives
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and partner effectively with executives
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with interest in quantum computing

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Base annual salary range of $140,800 to $193,600 CAD
