Job Description

Job Title: Senior Technical Recruiter. Location: British Columbia, Canada

Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle hiring for high-specialization roles across hardware, software, algorithms, and engineering disciplines
• Develop sourcing strategies for rare talent markets using industry networks, research communities, and conferences
• Evaluate technical candidates for capability, competencies, and culture fit
• Build proactive pipelines of highly specialized talent anticipating future growth areas
• Serve as a strategic advisor on talent availability, benchmarking, and compensation insights
• Collaborate on headcount planning, role design, leveling, and organizational scaling;
• Educate and influence hiring managers on hiring best practices and candidate experience
• Ensure recruitment processes maintain consistency, employer brand, and high candidate experience

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, including at least 3 years in engineering recruitment
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and technical leadership in a rapidly scaling environment
• Strong technical fluency to hold credible conversations with scientists and engineers
• Experience influencing hiring strategy, workforce planning, and interview design;
• Exceptional communication, organization, and candidate experience skills
• Experience contributing to recruitment program and process development

Benefits and Compensation:

• Base annual salary: 86,000 to 118,000 CAD
