Job Description

Job Title: Solution Architect for Quantum Computing. Location: Madrid, Spain

You will apply your expertise in quantum algorithms and hybrid quantum-classical workflows to address business challenges across industries like finance, logistics, chemistry, and AI; The role requires collaboration with both technical teams and business stakeholders to accelerate the adoption of IBM Quantum technology.

Duties:

• Understand client challenges and map them to relevant quantum use cases.
• Design quantum workflows using Qiskit and IBM Quantum services;
• Lead technical workshops on quantum computing concepts and applications.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including engineers and CxOs.
• Integrate quantum solutions with classical systems to deliver innovative results;
• Stay updated with quantum computing developments through training and documentation.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field with specialization in Quantum Computing.
• Experience in solution architecture or technical consulting roles;
• Strong knowledge of quantum computing principles including qubits, gates, circuits, and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with Qiskit or similar quantum SDKs.
• Familiarity with optimization problems, machine learning, or quantum chemistry.
• Proficiency in Python and integration of quantum-classical systems;
• Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, quick learner, and comfortable navigating technical documentation.
• English – Advanced / Professional proficiency.
