Job Description
Job Title: System Reliability Engineer. Location: Cambridge, UK
When incidents or outages occur, the engineer will report, diagnose, and help resolve issues quickly by analyzing live production code & system behavior; They will collaborate closely with the software development team to maintain reliability across the Quantinuum Nexus platform.
Duties:
- Managing and maintaining Kubernetes and Docker environments for the Quantinuum Nexus platform.
- Collecting and analyzing logs, metrics, and traces using OpenTelemetry and AWS tools to detect performance issues.
- Implementing and improving Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform;
- Supporting continuous deployment and ensuring high uptime for cloud-based systems;
- Working with developers to locate bugs and optimize performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience using AWS services such as CloudWatch, X-Ray, and related tools.
- Knowledge of Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code frameworks;
- Experience with distributed systems, monitoring, and debugging production environments.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and continuous deployment workflows is a plus.
