DevOps Engineer - Computing

Job Description

Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer - Accelerated Computing. Location: remote - Warsaw, Poland, Germany, Hungary

This role involves building and managing complex distributed systems, running extensive builds and tests, and optimizing development pipelines across diverse computing architectures; You will be part of a global engineering team that values collaboration, reliability, and innovation.

Duties:

• Manage and execute continuous integration builds and testing across multiple platforms and architectures.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain automation tools to streamline builds and infrastructure processes;
• Collect and analyze large-scale performance data from software and hardware systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure stable and efficient build environments.
• Troubleshoot build failures, optimize pipelines, and improve reliability.
• Maintain source control systems and manage configuration management workflows;
• Support the setup and debugging of GPU-accelerated systems and high-performance computing clusters.
• Participate in agile development processes and sprint planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or related roles;
• Strong experience with Linux environments and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, shell, or Groovy.
• Proficiency in build tools like GNU Make, CMake, Visual Studio, or MSBuild.
• Experience with distributed system deployment and debugging.
• Skilled in C++ compilation and software build processes;
• Familiarity with git or other source control management systems.
• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Preferred: knowledge of GPU-accelerated computing, HPC performance benchmarking, and multi-user Linux administration.
