Job Description
Job Title: Senior Solution Architect. Location: Greater Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of enterprise solution architectures that align with customer business goals
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Present architecture proposals and delivery strategies to executive stakeholders
- Lead and mentor architects and technical teams across complex engagements;
- Integrate AI tools and agents into software delivery and solution architecture
- Develop AI usage plans to improve development speed, quality, and cost efficiency
- Promote AI-first practices for code generation, testing, documentation, and architecture analysis
- Establish engineering standards including architecture documentation, code quality, peer reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD
- Lead architecture reviews, identify technical risks, and ensure high-quality solution delivery
- Create reusable reference architectures, frameworks, and technical assets;
- Design solutions spanning Data & AI, Application Development, Cloud Infrastructure, and Security
- Collaborate with Microsoft product teams and technical specialists to deliver customer solutions
- Support business development activities and identify opportunities for additional customer engagements
- Drive operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in technology architecture, consulting, solution delivery, or related technical domains
- At least 4 years of experience managing multiple complex projects or portfolios
- At least 2 years of experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams;
- Strong experience designing enterprise software and cloud architectures
- Experience communicating technical solutions to executive and business stakeholders
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior customer leadership
- Strong knowledge of AI-powered development practices and architecture methodologies
Preferred:
- Experience with Azure Data Platform, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Data Factory
- Experience designing modern application architectures, microservices, APIs, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Azure infrastructure, networking, identity management, and cloud governance
- Experience with security architecture, Zero Trust, threat modeling, and compliance;
- Experience creating AI integration strategies and engineering governance processes
- Ability to lead enterprise-scale solution delivery across multiple technology domains
Benefits And Compensation:
- Base salary ranging from CAD $172,200 to CAD $334,000 per year
