Customer Solutions - Director (EMEA)

Job Description

Job Title: Customer Solutions Director (EMEA). Location: Remote (UK and Ireland, EMEA region)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee delivery, quality, and execution of all regional quantum consulting projects
• Ensure strong project governance, timelines, scope control, and customer satisfaction
• Manage escalations and coordinate cross-functional support across teams
• Optimize staffing, resource allocation, and delivery efficiency;
• Partner with sales teams on presales discovery, solution design, and opportunity support
• Ensure smooth transition from presales to project delivery
• Lead Engagement Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, and Technical Account Managers
• Build a high-performance, customer-focused regional team
• Drive hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and workforce planning
• Align delivery strategy with regional revenue and business goals;
• Improve operational processes and best practices across customer solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Optimization, or related technical field
• 10+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, or technical delivery roles
• Experience leading technical teams in matrix or startup environments
• Strong ability to translate business problems into technical solutions;
• Experience working closely with sales teams in presales environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
• Experience managing multiple priorities in delivery and operations
• Proven record of delivering complex projects on time and with high quality

Preferred:

• Industry experience in manufacturing, logistics, retail, or services
• Experience scaling teams in technology-driven organizations;
• Executive-level communication and client engagement experience
• Strong background in quantum optimization or advanced computational systems
