They guide cross-discipline teams working on the quantum hardware and software sides, track project completion and funding, drive strategic goals, and make sure things are on track to meet the business’s bottom line. These specialists combine technical and business tasks and do not need deep knowledge of quantum physics.
What qualifications do quantum managers need?
Most quantum management personnel are required to have at least a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as engineering, computer science, or physics.
